Subject: Princeton Wind Project Online!

On October 30, 2009, construction was completed on a 3 MW wind project near Mount Wachusett in Princeton.  The two wind turbines are now operating and ready for viewing.  Jon Fitch, the manager of the Princeton Municipal Light Department (PMLD), will describe his decade- long effort to remove 8 small wind turbines from the site and replace them with two utility scale wind turbines to provide 40% of the town?s annual electricity from wind power. Following a presentation and discussion at PMLD?s offices, a site visit will be conducted for the hardy.
